58-months-behind-3

A homeowner in Pennsylvania hadn't paid his $2,300 mortgage payment to PNC in nearly 5 years, and was about to lose his home because a sale date had already been set. What was probably the most frustrating to the homeowner was that he and his wife had been attempting to get a loan modification from PNC for 3 years, but they had gotten the run-around from the bank. This homeowner needed the help of a highly experienced foreclosure attorney immediately, and he got in touch with us to fix his problem.

This homeowner retained our firm in September 2013. Immediately, our legal team began working to cancel his sale date, and our home retention department began working to prepare a loan modification package. Within 1 month of submitting the loan modification package, the homeowner was offered a trial loan modification by PNC; which is an incredibly rapid period, especially considering the homeowner had been fighting for a modification for 3 years.

pnc-logo-mediumUnder the trial loan modification, which is scheduled to start in November 2013, the homeowner will now be paying $1,819 (a $431 reduction). Also, the sale date has been pushed back until after the trial loan modification is complete, meaning that it will be canceled once the homeowner receives his permanent loan modification.

This loan modification is not just significant because the homeowner was nearly 5 years behind schedule; it is also significant because it only took less than a month to obtain a modification. Like other large banks, PNC is infamous for making loan modification nearly impossible for homeowners. Many homeowners have lost their homes to foreclosure while waiting on a loan modification from these big banks, which is what happened to this homeowner. This shows why it's extremely important to hire an experienced foreclosure defense law firm to help you obtain great loan modification results.
